Belarus will put a fine for drinking alcohol in the workplace. BelTA was told in the Interior Ministry.

The new version of Art. 17.3 of the Administrative Code of Belarus, which will enter into force on 23 February, are prohibited from being in the workplace during working hours in alcohol, drug, or for abuse of intoxication. The fines will range from one to ten basic units (currently equal to a value of Br35 thousand).

Meanwhile, not all situations can impose a penalty under Art. 17.3. In the current edition of the Code of penal sanction relies only for drinking alcohol in public places. But not all jobs are public. But now for the use of alcohol in the workplace provided such a sanction as dismissal.
